FurEver Portraits for Coveted Canines

I am thrilled to let you know about the exciting work I’ve been doing.

This past year I launched Capture North Studio’s FurEver Portraits— and it is by far my favourite project I’ve done since lockdown.  If you ever want a bundle of joy to rock you out of whatever you’re feeling— its a day of dogs.  Being given so much joy from these shoots I started to think “How can I give as much as I get?”  So here we are— rescue dogs.

I’ve been working with Coveted Canines to get their foster dogs FurEver Portraits to help them find their FurEver Homes.  Coveted Canines is a Toronto-based Dog Rescue organization which collaborates with local and international communities, focused on rescuing dogs that are at high risk of being euthanized and those that are vulnerable to abuse.

These dogs have been through so much, and some have travelled around the world to their Toronto Foster Paw-rents.  Every shoot has its challenges, and I’d say for these pups it was winning their trust.  My favourite pup was Toto.  Toto came to Coveted Canines from Mexico— a country I’ve lived in. Toto walked in and found the corner.  Eventually I was able to convince him to sit in my lap— but then he became so comfortable with me thats all he wanted to do! 

Coveted Caines is doing some incredible work.  These pups were all sweet good doggos.  I hope they find their FurEver homes and their new families love the FurEver portraits of their new pets.
